I’m Joe, the creator of Let’s Get This Done website.
As a Catholic layman, I have some thoughts on the parting words of Jesus Christ:
“Go out to all the world and proclaim the Good News.”
I am currently conducting a small personal pilot program to see if an individual can efficiently and affordably distribute copies of the gospel to his/her community by using the U.S.Postal Service’s direct mail program. Click here to see my progress.
The church has made enormous progress with the mission of Jesus. A substantial portion of humanity has been impacted by the gospel.
Nevertheless, there is still quite a bit more that needs to be done. That’s the focus of this blog.
I am no theologian; my ideas are strictly my own. But I do have a train of thought, and my posts are all heading in the same positive direction. I hope you find them interesting and thought-provoking.
Here is my very short and completely oversimplified history of Christian evangelism, and where I think it should go.
This post continues to develop the farming metaphor.
Here are some of my ideas concerning evangelism as political action.
Why I believe it is so important to put the gospel into the hands of the people.
In this post I present the gospel as a classic love story in the style of Jane Austin.
The gospel describes a kingdom
of volunteers.
Men and women all over the world
volunteer to join.
Men and women all over the world
volunteer to participate.
Jesus is in charge of the volunteers.
On these terms, anyone on earth is welcome to join.
